Disposal Materials for Roll Offs
The Blaine County Landfill offers three options for disposal of roll-off dumpster contents.  Materials must comply with one of these three categories, particularly Clean Wood Waste and Inert Materials.

Clean Wood Waste - Grass and leaves.  No plastic bags allowed.  Clean construction lumber, trees and branches.  Please cut wood wastes into lengths no greater than 8 feet, and no items greater than 18 inches in diameter. No dirt, rock, plywood, painted materials, sheetrock, metal, plastic, noxious weeds or trash.

Demolition Materials - Dirt, rock, tree stumps and root balls, wood, asphalt, concrete and plastic pipe/tubing.  No sheetrock, insulation, light fixtures ballasts, asbestos, appliances, furniture, or fabric materials.  No liquid wastes, paints, tires or batteries.

Transfer Station Waste - Includes household garbage, sheetrock, insulation, furniture, fabric materials (carpeting, drapes, etc.), and any materials that can rot or leach into the ground.  No liquid wastes or asbestos.

32 gallon, 68 gallon, and 95 gallon carts are available.

Acceptable Commodities:  Glass, tin/aluminum, magazines, newspaper, #1 & #2 plastic bottles, white paper, mixed paper (see recycling tips pages).

Items NOT accepted:  plastic containers that have #1 or #2, but do not have a threaded neck, aluminum (tin) foil, pizza boxes and bags that may or may not have food contaminates, cardboard milk or juice cartons, pesticide and chemical cans, paper such as carbon paper, golden rod, deep tone fluorescent dyed paper, medical files, chip board, cereal boxes, dark kraft envelopes, and paper items that are glued together.  No shredded paper is accepted with regular service.
